There's a modern, fresh new look at the Residence Inn Tucson Airport with amenities for millennial travelers.
Tucson, Arizona — Travelers needing accommodation at Tucson Airport can now enjoy a modern, fresh new look at the Residence Inn Tucson Airport. The hotel has just completed a significant property renovation to provide guests with more spaces and places to maximize their stay. The 124-room hotel is owned by Apple Hospitality REIT, Inc. and managed by Texas Western Hospitality.

According to General Manager Juanita Foley, the property, which opened on December 21st, 2007, received a complete soft goods refresh including all color items changed such as the drapes, bed skirts, shower curtains, carpet, and wall paint in the guest rooms. All suites also feature a brand-new sofa and desk chair. All pool furniture was replaced.
Mrs. Foley also notes that in keeping with the trend toward incorporating amenities in hotels which appeal to Millennial travelers, the breakfast area now features a large communal table with pop-up outlets and USB ports — it’s great for networking in the morning or a connected spot to plug in and work during the day. The Lounge Area also now offers two work station pods which are reminiscent of a booth with a dedicated TV on the wall. This is a prime spot for one-on-one meetings or job interviews, or for someone who needs a quiet space to work throughout the day and prefers not to be in their room.
Another element appealing to Millennial guests is their love of technology. All guest room TVs have been replaced with brand-new TVs featuring the ENSEO system which provides high-quality HDTV smart television technology offering guests free access to their personal accounts at Netflix®, Hulu®, YouTube®, Crackle®, and Pandora®, as well as several other digital features.
And finally, the property has replaced all existing artwork with locally curated artwork from Tucson-based artisans to provide a better sense of place for visiting guests.
